There's a Memphis in Egypt, Too!

41° this morning, but in the bright sunshine, it quickly got up to 58, where it remained all day as I ran across Arkansas and Tennessee. I pass through Little Rock and cross the muddy Mississippi at Memphis, with its Pyramid Arena prominent on the left and the tall buildings of city center nestled right against the river on the right.

I wind up the day in Dickson, TN, just west of Nashville. After I got set up for the night, I sat down to my computer to make a few notes and was delighted to find Diane on line. Our kids take it for granted, but instant messaging is pretty amazing.

A little dinner (microwaves are pretty amazing, too), a little Desperate Housewives, and I’m off to bed.
